Mario Posada Ochoa (Mayo, for friends and family) was my Grandfather's brother, my "tío abuelo" in Spanish. One of the first persons to import photographic equipment to Colombia, and the first to fly all over the country shooting aerial photographs for postcards.
He was a pioneer in keeping Colombians up to date with the latest audiovisual technologies of the second half of the 20th century, a gifted photographer and videographer and a tireless visionary.
Among the millions of photographs in his archives I was given the task and privilege of scanning his family pictures, these are some of those, hand embroidered by me.
